Meet the Farah and Farah Legal Team Staff

Case Managers

Gary St. Arnauld

Gary St. Arnauld joined Farah & Farah in November 2009 and works as a case manager with attorney David Candeleria at the firm’s downtown Jacksonville office.

Mr. St. Arnauld started his career as a school teacher in his native New Hampshire and eventually took on duties there as the director of licensing in the motor vehicle department of the New Hampshire Department of Safety. Before moving to Florida in the early 1980’s, he joined the  Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) as the director of licensing where he helped implement motorcycle licensing in Florida and developed the training classes for motorcycle license examiners which is still used today.

Working with Progressive, Nationwide, and Allstate insurance companies, Mr. St. Arnauld spent more than 20 years as a manager and insurance adjustor working primarily with casualty and litigation claims. After more than two decades, Mr. St. Arnauld learned the inner workings of the insurance industry and knows how to speak the language of insurance adjustors to bring Farah & Farah’s clients the most favorable settlements with the least amount of hassle.

Tina Asber

Tina Asber attended the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. She is a Florida All Lines Insurance Adjuster with 16 years of experience in the areas of homeowners, PIP, bodily injury and general liability cases.

Usman Fazli

Usman Fazli is a Case Manager with Farah and Farah in the downtown Jacksonville office. Born in New York City, he attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in legal studies in 2003. Mr. Fazli is currently enrolled in Florida Coastal School of Law as a part-time student. He plans to continue working in all areas of personal injury law to help manage, analyze and evaluate liability to bring cases to a resolution.

Courtney James French

Courtney James French attended the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and received his degree in Business Accounting/Marketing. Mr. French has attended, and received accreditations from, the Minnesota Institute of Legal Education in ERISA Litigation, ERISA Subrogation, Personal Injury Law and Tort Law. Prior to joining Farah & Farah, P.A., Mr. French was the Savings & Recovery Administrator of CBCA, Inc.

Christine Hackler

Christine Hackler is a case manager with Farah & Farah at our Brunswick, Georgia office where she works with attorney Kevin Elwell.

Ms. Hackler joined Farah & Farah in February, 2011 after working in the insurance industry for 17 years as a staff injury specialist handling litigation for Florida, Alabama, Texas, and Virginia. Her job with General Motors Acceptance Corporation Insurance, (GMACI) involved hiring the defense council to defend GMACI against lawsuits filed by the injured. She also negotiated and mediated claims and oversaw settlement options. When a finance company took over GMACI, the settlement amounts began to dwindle and Ms. Hackler decided she wanted to work on the other side of the insurance industry, helping people with insurance understand their policies and layers of coverage in order to maximize their benefits and recoveries.

Working with attorney Elwell, Ms. Hackler is the first person in the Brunswick office to identify which cases have a good set of facts in order to lay the groundwork for an action against the at-fault party. She must frequently negotiate with health care provides to make sure that the client’s injury is addressed, the bills are paid, and the client can walk away in one piece.

Ms. Hackler has a B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Phoenix in Jacksonville, and an A.A. degree from St. Johns Community College. She holds two licenses, a 620 adjustor license with the Florida Department of Insurance, and a Texas Department of Insurance adjustor’s license. She is also a former member of the Arbitration Forums.

In her free time Ms. Hackler loves taking her 4-year-old son fishing, biking, and going to the park. In addition, for the last 17 years, she has been involved in conducting drives for the City Rescue Mission, Jacksonville, to help people get day-to-day living necessities.

David Hartsock

David Hartsock has worked as an attorney for the insurance industry, supervising claims and overseeing litigation. Now with Farah and Farah as a Case Manager, Hartsock is on the other side of the fence. His background allows him to understand the ins and outs of the insurance industry, with a working knowledge of procedures and the value of a case. He graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree from Ashland College in Central Ohio in 1977, and earned a J.D. degree from the University of Akron in 1981.

Dustin Kosak

Dustin Kosak is a Case Manager with Farah and Farah in the Jacksonville office. Born in Tennessee, he attended the University of West Alabama and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in economics. He worked in the insurance industry in Charlotte for four years before coming to Farah and Farah. He enjoys spending time with his wife and going to the Jacksonville Suns baseball games.

Jason Lebonte

Jason Labonte has been a case manager at the Orange Park office of Farah & Farah, where he works with attorney Wesley Ford, since January 2010.  Before joining Farah & Farah, Mr. Labonte spent time on the other side of the insurance industry working as an adjustor for Infinity Insurance, where he would make offers to settle auto accident insurance cases.

Working now, on the other side, with Farah & Farah, a plaintiff’s law firm, he says the insurance industry experience has given him the knowledge of what the insurance adjustor is going to say even before he says it. This puts him in an excellent position of being able to negotiate the best outcome for the injured clients of Farah & Farah.

Mr. Labonte grew up in Jacksonville and earned his B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Florida. He also earned an M.B.A at the University of North Florida. Mr. Labonte is from Crescent City, Florida and describes himself as a big Gator fan.

Dale Elizabeth Lewis

Case manager Dale Elizabeth Lewis joined Farah & Farah’s downtown office in January 2009 and currently works with personal injury attorney and the law firm’s co-founder, Chuck Farah. Specializing in auto accidents, premises liability and product liability cases, she spends her days managing pre-litigation files from beginning to end with Mr. Farah.

Ms. Lewis grew up in Andros, Bahamas and moved to South Florida when she was 15. She received an undergraduate B.A. degree from the University of Houston in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health from the University of Phoenix.

When she is not working as a case manager, Ms. Lewis finds great joy in her role as a Christian motivational speaker where she inspires young women to take a positive path in life. She brings her positive outlook to both clients and the insurance industry adjustors she deals with everyday and focuses on doing the right thing to help people achieve the best possible outcome.

Staci F. Lopez

Staci Lopez graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has worked in the insurance industry since 1991 and has gained experience in auto, homeowners, liquidation, and commercial claims. Lopez is bi-lingual, and therefore is of great service to our Spanish-speaking clients. She works as a case manager in our St. Augustine office.

Rembrant Moses

Rembrant Moses, a former member of the Presidential Honor Guard in the U.S. Army who was responsible for guarding Heads of State, now presides over personal injury cases as a manager working alongside attorney Rick Staggard in the downtown Jacksonville office of Farah & Farah.

Mr. Moses joined the law firm in March 2009 and has worked as a liaison between the client and the insurance company in injury cases involving auto accidents, premises liability, as well as bicycle and pedestrian cases. He has the background that makes him a valuable asset to clients.

Mr. Moses spent eight years as an insurance adjustor and special investigator in the insurance industry which, as a result, gives him first-hand knowledge of how an insurance company works, and most importantly, the process by which it denies claims. It is his job to dot every “i” and cross every “t” to ensure client claims are granted. Additionally, Mr. Moses worked for six years in the subrogation department of the insurance industry, where a third party, such as Medicare or Medicaid, is reimbursed for a claim. This skill set has been highly relevant to his work at Farah & Farah.

In addition to his work in the insurance industry, Mr. Moses brought his investigative skills to Washington, D.C. where he conducted investigations for the U.S. Army. Originally from Valdosta, Georgia, Mr. Moses owned a private investigation firm there for five years.

Kathy Palmer

Kathy Palmer graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and received her A.I.C. from the Insurance Institute of America. She worked as a liability claims specialist for 15 years before becoming a case manager. Palmer works in Farah and Farah's downtown offices.

Liz Seay

Liz Seay has been with the law offices of Eddie Farah since March 2001. Seay works as a case manager with attorney Lloyd Manukian where she assists in all phases of the pre-litigation of a case. She graduated with honors in Criminal Justice from Keiser University, Daytona, and is currently pursing a master's degree in the same field.

Kelly Sullivan

Kelly Sullivan is a Case Manager with Farah and Farah's downtown office. Working with attorney Joel Harris, Sullivan has spent time working in the insurance industry as a claims adjustor for self-insured companies as well as for State Farm Insurance and she has her All-Lines Adjuster's license. Sullivan understands what the insurance industry requires to settle your claim. In her spare time, Sullivan likes the fast pace of regattas and competitive racing large sailboats on the St. John's River.

Lindsay Vandiver

Lindsay Vandiver is a case manager with Farah & Farah at our Orange Park office. Ms. Vandiver has been with the firm for more than four years and today works with personal injury attorney Wesley Ford.

As a case manager, Ms. Vandiver makes sure the insurance company deals with the client in good faith and that each client in her case load receives adequate and fair compensation for their property damage and personal injury claim. Additionally, Ms. Vandiver manages the client’s needs medically as an advocate for the client acting as a liaison between the insurance company and medical provider.

Investigators

Jim Brandon has been an investigator with Farah & Farah since 1994. Brandon plays a vital role with the firm investigating the merits of your personal injury case from medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, worker's compensation to premises liability. John Howe

Farah & Farah field investigator John Howe joined the law firm in 2009 and is presently based in our Gainesville, Florida office. As a field investigator, his job is to travel to the injured party’s home following a personal injury accident to discuss their options.

The health and well-being of clients is of the utmost importance, which is why, whether the personal injury relates to medical malpractice, an auto accident, workers’ compensation or social security, Mr. Howe will travel approximately 1,000 miles each week to come to the client rather than have them go to the office. For clients, this level of support and consideration is highly appreciated.

Prior to joining the law firm, the British-born Mr. Howe was in the Royal Naval Submarine Service for 16 years as a Master Chief. His crew used to visit Cape Canaveral for rest and relaxation and that is where he met his American wife. After a move to Gainesville, Mr. Howe spent 16 years working as a broker with a major real estate firm. Today, Mr. Howe says working with clients, “being honest and up front, maintaining their dignity and our integrity,” is what makes his job enjoyable.
