Florida Personal Injury Law Firm

Usman Fazli
Case Manager to Leslie Jean-Bart, Esq

What really matters:
justice

For the past decade, I have managed cases at various firms who set forth limitations in preventing me from fully taking care of my clients. However, Farah & Farah never ceases to amaze me how much we go out of our way for our clients. Although every accident is an unfortunate reality, this firm does not forgo any level of hard work in making sure all avenues have been exhausted when it comes to seeking justice. Clearly, reasons for working here and clients returning to us are myriad. Regardless of the outcome, no matter how big or small, I enjoy contributing in making sure that full justice has been served.

It is very rewarding to know that I help people when their need for it is at its greatest. Helping people deal with tragedy and the sometimes difficult insurance companies allows them to focus on more important things, like getting better and taking care of their families.

What really matters:
the environment & families

Whether it has been protecting archaeological resources, cleaning up toxic materials in the environment, or working with chronically ill children and their families, I have always strived to do what is right for the people of Florida. Farah & Farah allows me to continue on in this tradition, by securing benefits for workers (and their families) when they are injured on the job, helping to bring them peace of mind and clarity during a confusing and often
anxiety-ridden process.

What really matters:
eliminating dangerous drugs

I have hundreds of people in the same situation and all of them say, at the end of the day I just want the pharmaceutical company to know what they did was wrong and to help prevent this from happening to anyone else. By bringing a lawsuit against the manufacturer, it brings attention to the FDA and the public about what’s going on with these products. It will not only educate the public about the potential danger of a product that they might not have know about without the media attention of a lawsuit, but it can also potentially lead to the product being black boxed or taken off the market. Along with firms around the nation, we can do more than bring a dollar to a person, we can help change the future of dangerous medications and products.

I believe that our clients return to us and happily refer family and friends simply because we make them feel important. My clients know that they can call me and will receive a return call promptly.
While I have had many clients tell me that they realize they aren’t my only client,
they appreciate that I go the extra mile, explain the litigation process in detail
and make them feel that they are my number one priority.

I try to develop a good working relationship with my clients. I want
them to realize that we are a team and their input is valuable and extremely important. Communication with our
clients is the key element.

I’ve been a litigation paralegal for 20 years now. I love what I do. I can’t imagine being in any other career.

What really matters:
client relationships

Basically I love my job and have loved it every day I’ve done it. I love it because I make a difference people’s lives helping them navigate the legal system which they couldn’t do on their own. Clients have been up worrying all night and they call me and tell me they are unsure. I talk to them and tell them I got
it. They tell me they love me and then
they can go take a nap. I can understand what my clients are going through
because I have been there too. I love
what I do everyday.

What really matters:
helping to make a difference

Knowing I have helped make a difference really gives me great satisfaction. I recently had a client tell me that when he calls in I’m always cheerful and polite and that it meant a lot to him since he has so many health issues/problems and when he calls me I bring some joy to his day… or speaking to a client who just received Social Security
benefits break into tears with gratitude saying that this has made a difference in their life.

What really matters:
helping the injured

For me it’s seeing people who are hurt and helping them recover and taking care of the little stuff they would normally do for themselves but can’t because they are injured. Even making appointments and getting a car rental or talking to the insurance company, I can take the burden off them at a time they are suffering.

Since I used to work as an insurance adjuster, I know the questions they are going to ask and I know they are pushing for an answer right now so they can meet their quotas. I can serve as a buffer for the client and say ‘Not now, not until we have the right answers, not just any answer
about their injuries.

Vicki Walls
Legal Assistant to Tom Woods

What really matters:
client satisfaction

The best part of my job is making sure the client is satisfied. So often I hear the fear in their voice. They haven’t gone through this before and I try to answer their questions and explain to them the process. I hear them calm down and their whole personality changes on the phone to a happier, peaceful place and they are very thankful to me.

I understand where they are coming from because I have also been in their place after being involved in an automobile accident and not knowing what to do with all of the bills prior to becoming a personal injury legal assistant.

Paralegal to Eddie Farah, Esq.

What really matters:
assisting injured people

Over the past 30 years, I have enjoyed helping the attorneys in the firm to assist people who have been injured. I have made some good friends along the way. I like the feeling of accomplishment when we are able to resolve a case.

Cameron Abbott
Executive Director

What really matters:
the small firm feel

Why do I like working at Farah?  While Farah & Farah is a large firm we still have that small firm feel. Since the firm is
family-owned we take pride in our employees and do things to enhance that family feel. Our employees take pride in the work that they do and care about helping people.

The two most important things I stress to new employees who come to work at Farah & Farah are:

1. Maximize the recovery to the client on every case
2. Make sure the client has a good experience with our firm

I enjoy coming to work every day knowing that Chuck and Eddie are here at the office every day and care about the success of this firm. Working with Eddie and Chuck daily I see the pride that they take in this firm and that makes me want to work hard to make this firm a success.

I, too, have had a loved one who was permanently disabled through no fault of his own, and learned the hard way how difficult it is to get the funds he deserved. By working with our clients, I feel like I am helping people to recover from terrible situations and helping them to make their lives whole again.

Paralegal to Leslie Jean-Bart, Esq

What really matters:
working with clients

I talk to them in the very beginning and we get them signed up and then bow out, so it’s nice to see when the case is settled and the client is happy. They are so thankful and gracious, that’s rewarding.

Christina Day
Director of New Case Coordination

happy clients

Gary St. Arnauld
Case Manager Director

What really matters:
fair settlements for clients

I worked as a claims manager and adjuster for the insurance industry for 25 years. I have witnessed tremendous change in the way insurance companies are handling their claims. Getting claims paid is much more difficult than before and many of our clients come to us after experiencing frustration with the way the insurance companies handle their claims. I get tremendous satisfaction in getting a fair settlement for our clients, often under difficult circumstances. We are providing a valuable service to our clients and our reward is in seeing them get the settlement they deserve.

The thing I like most about my job is the fact that I have known Eddie Farah for so many years. I love the family, I grew up with them. We went to high school and college together. I have a great deal of respect for the Farah family. It’s a pleasure to work for him. And I get a great deal of satisfaction when I leave the client and they feel comfortable that they have genuinely made a really good choice in attorneys based on my meeting with them.

What really matters:
comfortable clients

Each day is different, so I’m never bored. I enjoy meeting new
people and educating them and hopefully easing the pain of what they may be
going through.

Nermina Kruskic
Case Manager to Bruce Feifer, Esq

What really matters:
the small things

My focus is on the needs of the individual. No two clients are the same, and I emphasize building a strong relationship with each client. Because hard times hit all of us at some point, helping people regain the ability to resume their life and restore balance is important to me. It’s the small things that make a profound difference.

Case Manager to Bruce Feifer, Esq

What really matters:
good customer service practice

One of the joys of working at Farah & Farah is helping people but more specifically, explaining the process. Many people really are lost when it comes to the process, and they don't know what to expect. Sometimes we can't directly help a potential client but the information that we provide helps them determine their course of action. It is always satisfying to hear the client say, "Thank you." They often express that we take the time that others don't. We don't just say no, we can't help. We offer an alternate avenue. That's not only professionalism - it's a good customer service practice.

LaPorscha Reed
Case Manager to Joel Harris, Esq

What really matters:
the people

The interaction with people is by far the best part of my job. I work in a very high volume position which makes it easy to get involved in work and forget about the "people" that you're pulling for on a daily basis. But when we do interact and share information, for the client the whole process becomes less intimidating. I derive a great deal of satisfaction from discussing the details of legal matters to clients in a way they understand and appreciate.

I love my job. The variety of things that need to be done throughout the day make it always interesting. Besides being a team player,
I also enjoy translating for Spanish-speaking clients, giving them a voice
and a chance to be heard and by
helped with their case.

What really matters:
meeting new clients

It’s great to meet with new clients. It’s a different person every day and I bring them to the doctor’s office appointments or take them to an appointment to meet with their case manager. Anytime they have a case-related need for transportation I’m there and I get to know them for the 30 minutes we have together.
