Two Men Ejected From Pickup, One Dies

Neither man was wearing his seat belt when the truck they were riding in went off the road. One lived and one did not.  The two were traveling in Columbia County, Florida Thursday about 6:30 p.m.

53-year-old Ronald Turner was killed and his passsenger Randy Grover, 49, was injured when the 1988 Chevy pickup ran off Double Run Road.

Both men were ejected from the truck.

When the Florida Highway Patrol found them, Grover was airlifted to Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida and is in serious condition. FHP will try and determine if alcohol played a factor.
